Lynn’s Paradise Cafe Neighbors Angry

Lynn’s Paradise Cafe of Louisville, KY was a major draw to the neighborhood until owner Lynn Winter suddenly closed the restaurant without warning about two years ago. Since then, a number of businesses in the vicinity have been forced to close. Residents of the area have taken to protesting outside the former Lynn’s, carrying signs directed at Lynn Winter. They want her to either reopen or sell. Doing neither, they say, is putting a “chokehold on the neighborhood.” So far, Ms. Winter has not responded.

He’s somewhat bemused by the massive sugar- and fat-laden breakfasts. And while he finds the signature Bananas Foster to be “very ordinary” he’s impressed by the modern take on bread pudding.
