Others are less so: pastas at Coop’s Place and a peanut butter burger from Yo Mama’s. Check it out, you might find something useful for your next trip to America’s eating capital.

The writer likes the cheeseburgers: “classic American-style and very delicious — no big surprises.” He bemoans the lack of fries but appreciates the homemade potato salad. The new owners say they are trying to remain true to the spirit of founder Al Cassell.
